2 week notice..
I'm putting my 2 week notice in to Petsmart today, it was alright working for them, but... I just can't take it anymore.
I'll miss my fellow employees and even some of the managers..
I will however not miss the people who need to not be allowed to own pets, or the people who assume they are better than me because I work as a cashier to pay my way through college...
If you can even call 13 hours a week pay.

This community was fun, I'll miss your stories and stuff.. unless I decide to stick around Petsmart in the LJ world. I'm gunna find a job that won't promice me 30 hours and give me 13.

Wish me luck..

Hey, I've confronted my manager twice this year about two raises he was supposed to give me, and then tried to tell me that the raise for being made a Lead was only 5%, not 15%. Yeah. Right.

I'm not going to be a very nice employee, either. When I do manage to put in my two weeks, I'm making calls to all of the head offices that I can to make them very aware of the fact they suck at life. I'm also going to advise my store manager to start treating his current employees better, because I'm going to leave them with all of the information they may need to make his life a living hell (i.e. phone numbers to area animal welfare organizations to report the complete disregard for animal health because 'the vet is too far', information concerning living wages in my state, phone numbers for retail unions, the whooooole shebang.). My little specialty associates are going to be arme for battle if they need to be. :D

The lead raise is actually 10%.
